A sleeping child
reading a book you can`t bear to put down
a long email from your best friend
quenching a thirst with cool water
my 3 year old`s smile when he wakes me in the morning
getting a good photo
an Indian takeaway
an afternoon siesta in my mum`s garden
a cup of coffee while listening to the rain on the window
walking through a city early on a summer morning

ReplyDeleteall lovely things, my faves are
reading a book you can`t bear to put down
and a little person's smile (my girl is also 3).
I wish I could sleep like that! Lovely pockets of joy. Life is full of them. People just have to take the time to notice and appreciate them.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, beautiful pockets! I love the mental image of coffee while listening to rain :)!
ReplyDeleteI love this photo of your child, it reminds me of a time in which my kids used to sleep with such trust and abandon...
ReplyDeleteWonderful joy pockets and that photo is priceless!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by on my blog ;-)
Annabella, what a beautiful name!
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog. I can relate to the joy in your joy pockets. Water when thirsty, long email form a friend, the smile, the photo success and a good book. I am curious about the book. Would you like to share the title?
Do you have a picture of your raid posted somewhere. I was once in Morocco and loved it.
I love those moments when a book has me so captivated I can't put it down, usually I don't until I'm finished. My son just turned 3 - they do have a way of waking you up that you just can't help but smile, no matter how tired you still are.
ReplyDeletePrecious photo!
WoW! I wish I could sleep like that! He looks totally relaxed.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pockets of joy and your boy x
