Breaking a Rule

I`m breaking a self-imposed rule not to blog when feeling less than happy with the world.

I`m feeling a bit meh about things at the moment.

`Things` meaning blogging.

Someone somewhere in blogland has irritated me.  

It was bound to happen. But I won`t bore you with that.

Instead I`ll show you some photos of my Red City throw quilt bound and finished.


The fact it is slung on top of our Across the Seas quilt may give you an indication of my mood.




...and my other finish this week is my tablerunner for the Modern Christmas Tablerunner Swap 


..which is on its way to its new owner along with a couple of these...


...half inch square tree ornaments made using this tutorial by lovely Leanne.

I made a couple more blocks for my tramodernal quilt.  Here`s a mosaic block...


...and this is a lucky pieces block (it wasn`t so lucky for me as the seamripper came in to play on more than one occasion)...


and here`s a group shot.


Now I`m off to snap out of it.*edited to add - thanks for all your lovely comments.  I`m feeling much better and have officially snapped out of my funk!

    Oh dear and I hope its not me either! I have my head up my own a**e at the moment, all preoccupied with the home move, barely time to read blogger let alone write a post or comments. Hope your back on top soon. The quilt is stunning, fancy coming over to be my interior decorator for a while? x

    Sorry to hear about your changed mood Annabella. I even stopped blogging when I felt offended by another blogger. After I stopped, she started to offend the blogfriends from my favourite blogs list. After some time I started a new blog and now take into account that such things can happen. Often it is jealousy or envy.
    You are an inspiration and you make such wonderful stuff, I love to read about your life in Marrakech and to watch your beautiful pictures!!

    Glad you're feeling better! How could you be in a funk with that gorgeous Lucky Pieces block in your house? Love it! That quilt is going to be amazing!     Your Christmas Quilt looks faboulos. And btw (since you have mentioned it in your post) it's the same with me these days. I feel a little down, hurted from someone and not happy at all. Wouldn't it be great to have a funny movie together and laugh about all the stupid opinions?
