Calling All Sewists in the UK

 

Funnily enough, even though I live on another continent I know a lot of people...

  • who are resident in the UK
  • who are serious about sewing
  • whose homes are full of their own creations 
The makers of hugely successful The Great British Bake Off are looking for a new kind of talent - non professional sewing enthusiasts to take part in a new TV series,

I would just love to see someone I `know` (and after the FQ Retreat will know) take part!  What are you waiting for?  Download the application form here - just remember me when you`re famous with your own TV show and book deal!

    Haha I've seen this call around over the last few months, I 'could' do it but no way, I feel sick just at the thought of all the stress! Not my idea of fun! Look forward to meeting you in London next month!

    OMG how fabulous is that! I watch The Great British Bake Off.... Poo what a pity we aren't in the UK Annabella!!!! Look forward to seeing this when it comes out. xx

    I love watching the show! Every year I watch it! We tried to convince my Father to go on it, but he wouldn't agree =D

    Sounds wonderful in theory but I imagine the stress would evaporate all skill and creativity in me!!! Interesting to see if it takes off!

    Oh how wonderful! Unfortunately I'm not allowed to apply cos I have qualifications and earn my living from sewing! But I'd be jumping with excitement to see some of my blogging buddies on TV! Jxo
