So in an effort to revive my spirits, what better than a giveway? If I can't sew, at least others can! My followers are approaching 400 and that makes me super happy as does this whole quilting and sewing caboodle, the support, the generosity, the humour and the wonderful comments that my readers leave me. This is a thank you from me to you.
So when this morning I was basting some templates for some EPP using some Liberty tana lawn and saw Annie's newsletter announcing that the 2nd Liberty Lifestyle collection, Stile had arrived, I thought I would give one of you lucky ducks 4 fat quarters. Using Annie's Build a Bundle, I chose one each in:
Newbury

So to be in with a chance of winning 4 fat quarters of these fabrics, simply leave a comment. Followers get a bonus entry. The giveaway is open internationally. I shall draw a winner on Thursday November 22.

ReplyDeleteI fear my mojo in full impish mode has made off with your Mojo and is leading it astray somewhere! Sorry. My machine did a similar thing when I first got it and it turned it was managing to unthread itself at the top bit where you go down and back up (see I know all the technical terms.) I doubt it's the case in your case as you'd know all about the threading by now. But it scared the life out of me when it did it. I thought the machine was going to explode or something.
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower too. I'll tell my mojo if it sees yours to send it packing in your direction too.
ReplyDeleteI've been following for a while now... you poor thing, machineless in Morocco... maybe time to start hand-stitching something to keep your fingers busy??

ReplyDelete2 Penguins
A man is driving down the freeway with his two pet penguins when he gets pulled over by a cop for speeding. After the cop hands over the speeding ticket to the driver, he notices the 2 penguins. The cop informs the driver that he must take the penguins to the zoo. The driver agrees to do so.
Two months later, the same man is pulled over by the same cop for speeding. The cop notices the penguins again only now they are wearing sun glasses and eating ice cream. The cop says, "I thought I told you to take those penguins to the zoo." The man responds, "I did take them to the zoo, now I'm taking them to the beach."
Art Déco is a very inspiring period for me. These fabrics are so incredibly beautiful!

ReplyDeleteHang in there. You'll get back in the creative groove--and maybe you'll have more time in which to be creative because you'll have gotten some things out of the way in the mean time. (That's how it goes around here. Only when I'm not tempted by quilts do I turn my attention to more pedestrian responsibilities.)
