Shadow Shot Sunday - Our New Front Door

A couple of weeks ago we moved house and this is our new front door. It has steps up to it and I love the shadows cast by the railings.

Linking up with Hey Harriet.  For more shadowy shots, hop over there and join in the fun.

I love the inset stripe in the stone steps! And the shadows from the railings. What a nice door to come home to.

Love the door, the steps and the tile surrounding the door. Great shadows, too.

Your new front door, replete with shadows, is very richly patterned!

SHADOW DANCE

Shadows here and shadows there,
Shadows, shadows everywhere!
Shadows left and shadows right;
Shadows dancing through the night!
Shadows crouching on the wall;
Shadows spring and shadows fall
On the unsuspecting guest,
Who thought shadows offered rest!

A beautiful door, and what a great shadow it makes.

A rather unusual door for this side of the world, I like the iron work and I love the mosaic around it.
Off to read your first post...

Your entrance is beautiful in every way - thanks for sharing. I love the colours and all the different patterns - not just the door, but also the steps, the banister and the walls...

I love your front door and the surrounding tiles. I also love the way the shadows look as though someone has draped a lovely lacy fabric over the steps. Great shot
