Oh, that's not good to feel ripped off, sorry you didn't enjoy it. On the other hand you did get a picture out of it. Lol
it's a huge disappointment to go out for a meal and then leave feeling dissatisfied. I don't like that one bit and I do the same - vote with my feet. plus I share the experience with friends if it's that bad. but I rarely have the nerve to be honest when asked at the time how the food is! better to be kind than right my friend always said. glad you at least got the shadows, which lend a subtle texture to your great perspective here. happy SSS to you Annabella.
You got them back. Their cafe name is not visible in the photo so no free advertising.
Just like you to find a good in a crummy experience. Love the shot and your lovely attitude :-)
Hi Annabella
I'm with you lovely lady -
I hate that feeling of bad service or bad food
or worse
both!
I think Im ok to know I won't be there anytime soon :)
have a great day - good photography again - thank you

Annabella I'm sorry you had a bad experience with this cafe .. we are hesitant to complain directly ourselves too .. so voting with our feet is what we do as well !
The shadows are very pretty though so at least you had that much ;-)
Joy
You did get a nice shot though!
Love looking at the sky and that palm tree through the planks of wood.
Very pretty!
My share of shadow, please come and see.
I'm glad you got some free shadows!
IF I HAD A SHADOW
If I had a shadow as big as the sky,
I never would fear, and I’ll tell you why:
My shadow would save me from dragons and things
That fly in the night with terrible wings;
My shadow would keep me away from the beast
That sniffs in the west and sniffs in the east
Hungry for children who play all alone,
Hoping to feast upon blood, upon bone;
My shadow would be my protector and knight
To keep fear at bay, to banish all fright.
I’m so glad my shadow is always nearby,
Though it’s not nearly as big as the sky!

Shadows in hoofprints and stone
I take it, no tip? :) Thoughtful photo. I really like it.
Nope, I don't like feeling ripped off either, but you did get a terrific shadow shot for the day! Love your composition! Hope your weekend is going well!

Interesting shot! happy SSS!
Bummer... No fun being disappointed but grey you made lemonade out if lemons and got your shot, looks quite relaxing ;)
Sorry the cafe was a rip off - the shadows were gorgeous though! Happy SSS :D
that's so pretty
love the angle you chose
I also enjoyed your newer post about rejuvenated sewing spirit
have fun!! :)
That does stink!
I had never heard that expression before. Learned something new. :)
You looked for and found a silver lining, and that's a good thing. So is your shadow shot. What a unique point of view, seeing the palm and sky through those (wood?) ceiling slats. Unlike you and Ms Becky, though, I tend to let the establishment know what I think of their poor product/service... and it can be done without offense.
This is very nice capture! Love the photo.
Very nice shadow shot.
Regards!
