Great Shadow Shot. I love fig tress and figs. I use the leaves to line platters when I have a buffet. Their unique shape is so pretty.

All those luscious greens and shades of grey and black--oh, my!

I HAD A LITTLE SHADOW
(With apologies to Robert Louis Stevenson)

I had a little shadow
No bigger than my thumb;
I took him to the meadow
And there I gave him rum.

My drunken little shadow
Did weave and bob and pitch;
He stumbled from the meadow
And fell into a ditch!

The first one looks like an illusion. The second looks richly light drenched.
