I found you through Monica and I love the joy that you found in your pocket this week!
Little hands with playdough moments, what fun!!! And those new fabrics get the creative ideas flowing dont' they!! Just lovely!! And water pistol fights, that would be a fave here too :). Have a wonderful weekend Annabella!
I love fabric - oh, the possibilities
Kid impersonations - they're always eye openers!
A visit from mum - how exciting!!
Great pockets, Annabella. I love little hands and what they can make. Oooo, fabric, fun! fun! And it's so wonderful your mother's coming to visit. Ocotber will be here before you know it. Have a great weekend!
Wonderful pockets of joy (except for the play doh...I am not a fan of play doh...:) )... That fabric is just gorgeous!!!
Beautiful fabric, I know what you mean about it being a little harder sometimes to find the joyous moments! I felt a bit like that this week, we've been having a little heat wave in Cornwall and its so muggy and hot that I cant function properly and the kids are being somewhat grouchier then usual. As for the BBC..can you get BBC i-player on your computer? have a lovely weekend, lisa
Joy...one of my favorite words. You know how to find joy in so many things
Playdoh really was a terrific favorite with my two.
We played with it almost every day!
ah, the BBC. we suddenly got BBC News and it made Mr's year. lol
glad you found enough pockets considering. we're actually waiting for the opposite, for Summer to arrive properly already!
I love your joy pockets! I hear you on the satellite dish/BBC and the heat! The only time I saw geckos was when I visited my in-laws who lived in Hawaii. I think they're really swell, but they always startled me! I hope you manage to keep cool and find joy in the ordinary every day Annabella.
Love your post title! That's a good a reminder for me to find pockets of joy whenever I can.
I'm the opposite. When it gets too hot here, I have to leave the house with my dog and find somewhere much cooler to hang out.. our 1950's home heats up like a furnace!
play-doh! that brings a smile to my face {even though my kids have outgrown playing with it, i secretly keep it around so i can mess with it!}.
an afternoon hanging out with the pool seems like a fantastic cure for all that hot weather you've been having!! hang in there annabella! :)
Picking play dough bits up from the floor. Ah yes, I remember it well. Play dough provided hours of entertainment in our house.
Another little joy pocket - you just won yourself a little piece of my ugly farbic!
Wonderful bits of joy!
Oh the fabrics you must get where you are living ~ Quilting fun! Play dooh Fun! ~ glad you are so creative and had such good times despite the heat ~ enjoy the week ~ ^_^

love those early morning hours too!
Lovely pockets! Cool breezes in the early morning sounds so wonderful. We're only just getting some warm weather. How wonderful your mum is coming over in October!
Playdough AND quilting? I'm loving this blog. :) Nice to meet another fabric fanatic.
I know how good those cool summer breezes feel! And I can just imagine your son's impersonation of you:) I remember seeing an iguana climbing outside our kitchen window when we lived in Mexico.
I'm going to try that tuna mint tart you shared earlier. We have lots of mint in the garden and I love cheese.
We also had a lot of play-do fun. It must be exciting to await your mother's visit.
Have a nice weekend.
please send some of that heat and sun up north!
the summer here has been quite miserable so far, but nevertheless I enjoy the early mornings... more because of how quiet and peaceful it is, less because of the cold breeze...
