It's the Little Things

For Zaki, it's lifting himself off the ground to get a better view of the giant 1,000,000 litre aquarium at Morocco Mall - Africa's largest shopping mall in Casablanca...

...so that he can get up close and personal with this guy...

...or these pretties.

For me, well it's the opportunity to occasionally have some 21st Century retail therapy as opposed to bartering like we did in Marrakech last weekend. The ceiling of Morroco Mall looks like a starry night.

I could go on about globalisation but knowing there is somewhere within a couple of hours drive I can buy a bra I can fit in to (sadly no food hall) is a good thing. The new and first M&S in Morocco at Place d'Anfa, Casablanca.

But of course the best little thing? Well it's holding my new niece...

..., Amira (Princess) born on 28 February weighing just 2.5 kgs.

Happy Days.

Hello little Princess! She is 10 years younger than my son!

Wow, M&S! I am just not British enough to love this shop but I know how brilliant it could be to find something you know and like!

What a lovely post! Aquariums are great places for little ones aren't they. And yes, everyone needs an M and S, we live in the middle of nowhere and there is a small 'Simply M and S' food, that is always jam packed! We wouldn't be without it for our top up supplies. And yes, the best for bras ;-) What a gorgeous baby, glad you gave her lots of snuggles!

Very jealous - I LOVE babies - and how come you've got M&S and we haven't? Very seriously unfair!!

I did know there was a m&s in Casa! Must be great to know the actual price of things! Amira is so precious!

That looks like an awesome aquarium. :) When I lived in Boston there was one there that had a great shark exhibit. It actually allowed you to walk over these glass portholes above where the tiger sharks swam. I think Zaki would like that one too.

Amira is very sweet and quite tiny. :) Congrats!

You look such a proud auntie!
And I totally get m & s. We have one around 50 kms away - it makes me feel all warm and cozy, although the bras don't fit me and its soo fuddy-duddy!!

Shopping and aquariums are great but wee babies are the best!
