Our Saturday So Far (Warning - A Sewing Free Post)

A morning trip into the souqs...

...male dislike of shopping starts early...feeling chilly so hands in pockets...

...after half an hour, a pit stop is needed...toothpaste tea (the a la menthe) and an OJ please...

merci!

...a spot of people watching...this man is clearly doing well - he has a feather in his cap...

...and here`s a hat seller doing the deal...

there`s the requisite arm`s length photo...teeth!!!

...the silly face photo...

...despite grotty cage conditions, a chameleon keeps his chin up...

...and we pay a brief visit to the workplace..but no swimming..too cold....

.. but there are blue skies...

...and there`s a welcome cuddle with our soppy ferocious dog, Dasher.

...what have you been up to today?

Ooh looks like a lovely day. Love the little tea pot. Chief told me he got into mint tea after a trip to Morocco. I said to him, 'How long were you in Morocco.' He said, 'Um just a day, but the tea was really good!' lol

I'm just back from Saturday morning chores too....although our scenery wasn't half so picturesque.

Morocco looks like an interesting place to walk around and it looks as if you had a nice day for it even if it was a tad cold.
Love the arm's length picture of the two of you - have I told you that your wee boy is so cute?

Looks lovely - I didn't even poke my nose outside today - cleaning and sewing a little and waiting for snow xxx

What a lovely day catched in a beautifl photo series!

We have been trying to stay warm. Last night we had minus 20oC and snow. Holland is covered with a white blanket of snow. I basted a table-runner and started machine quilting. We just had a lovely warm meal and I hope to curl up in a corner of the couch to watch some TV and make some handstitches.

Ooh - I love your pics of Marrakech, I visited Morocco several years ago and found it such a beautiful and mesmerising place with truly generous and hospitable people, would dearly love to go back :) Did you buy anything interesting in the souks? Today I started a new quilt (only my second ever!) using English paper piecing :/ think it's gonna take me a while!

Fun day out, I would love to go to a souk. I've been to the library and for a potter around the high street and cinema this evening - oh and no snow before the film and inch when we came out!

Lovely to see some of your photos again. And I like the leisurely pace you set. Beats fighting your way round Tesco on a Saturday morning.

Thank you Miss Annabella

loved a little sojourn with you.

Now I was trying to read what sandwiches and the rest was on the chalk board.

Hope you are well

Have a wonderful day,

Oh wow! Looks like a lovely morning! I love morning shopping jaunts. I live in a city where throngs of people come out at night! Oh did you say "workplace"??? Beautiful place to work!

I would like so much to visit Marrakech with you, far from the tourists destinations, and being able to see and appreciate hidden corners of this fabulous city.

What a lovely way to do your saturday shopping. No markets to speak of here, and everything closes at 11 am.
Great photos
